Hi! I’m Hope and I’m going to be one of this years AcMen (academic mentors)! I’m very excited for this role because I am passionate about helping others and making sure all residents have a great year and can call Harper home. I’m from Enfield, Nova Scotia and I’m a second year political science student! My preferred pronouns are she/her. My room number is 317 and please feel free to stop by to say hello or if you are in need of academic help or want to talk about anything in general! Most of you will probably notice a big change in your study habits and undergo stress during exam and midterm season, or all semester (you’re not alone!) university is a big adjustment and I’m here to help ease your stress and offer guidance to help you in your academic career. Don’t be afraid to reach out for help (talk to your professors or ask a classmate!) and take advantage of Mount Allison’s wonderful resources such as the writing centre, located in the library and the wellness centre in the student centre!
